At Future Five Stars Football Camp, we're all about bringing the joy of football and competition to kids aged 7-13. Founded in 2019, our camp has grown to over 300 campers last year, and we're incredibly proud of the community we've built. Football isn't just a game for us; it's a passion that we're eager to share. Our goal is to provide an exceptional football experience while spreading our love for the sport across the United States. So, whether your child is new to the game or a gridiron pro, join us on the field, and let's foster a lifelong love for football together!

MEET THE TEAM
Koda Thormodsgaard
PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Coach Koda Thor has been coaching and training youth and high school athletes since 2018. He is a former Mira Costa Football Captain who was an all-league running back and linebacker. Koda has since gone on to graduate from Auburn University with a Psychology and Sports Communication degree. He is pursuing a career in coaching and ministry.
Brian Kaiserman
VP of Growth and Strategy
Coach Kaiserman has been an integral part of Future Five Stars since its inception in 2019. Brian had the original idea to start a football camp. He is a graduate from University of Wisconsin with a degree in Real Estate and Marketing.
Nick Carpino
Marketing and Sales Director
Coach Carpino has been working with Future Five Stars since the very first camp. He is a former all-area quarterback and captain at Mira Costa. Nick has always had a passion for sports and working with kids. He graduated from Auburn University in 2023 with a degree in Finance. Nick is pursuing a career in sports entertainment
Nick Darrow
Operations and Finance Director
Coach Darrow has been involved with sports business for the past five years. He is a recent graduate of UCLA where he earned a degree in Business Economics and Statistics. Nick has coached youth football for five years.
Jay Cannon
LEAD COUNSELOR - AUBURN
Coach Jay Cannon is the lead counselor of the first extension location: Auburn, Alabama. He grew up in Auburn where he developed a passion for coaching. Coach Cannon has coached youth tackle football, youth basketball, and aau basketball.
Cole Crotty
LEAD COUNSELOR - CA
Coach Crotty is a recent Mira Costa High School graduate where he was the Varsity Football Team Captain. He was all CIF as a wide receiver his senior season. Cole now plays football at Johns Hopkins University. He recently won D3 rookie of the year.
Zane Thormodsgaard
ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR
Coach Zane Thor was a team captain at Mira Costa high school where he played linebacker and running back. He now studies Finance at Texas Christian University and is a member of the BNSF Neely Leadership program.
Riley Bloomstrand
FOOTBALL OPERATIONS INTERN
Coach Riley is a former Mira Costa captain where he played wide receiver and defensive back. Riley has been coaching at future five stars for the past 3 years and is passionate about youth sports. He is currently a student at the University of Colorado Boulder.
